Three Technical Weaknesses of Music Video Remake

Three Technical Weaknesses of Music Video Remake

-Wasn't able to change the backdrop (green screen) on FinalCut Pro
As a group we decided that we wanted to film in front of the green screen as we were not able to find an area around the college with a clear white wall were we had permission to film with out disturbing other lessons. Our plan was that we were going to change the green to a white background so we didn't wear any green, but we were unable to change it because we ran out of time and we didn't really understand how to change the background on FinalCut Pro.

-We could have used transitions instead just  jump cuts all the time
In the original Los del Rio - Macarena music videos there are different transitions such as slides and zooms. Where as in our remake we only had jump cuts which is very basic and simple and was not the same as the original video.

- We didn't added in the split screens like in the original music video
The original music video there are lots of split screens and changes / transition going on in the split screen, but in our remake video there isn't any split screen. this is because we didn't have time to add them because we were learning and getting use to editing with base-tracks as it is not the same style of editing we used when creating our thriller openings.
