-Part one ( Strengths )
Re-watching the music video remake i have noticed some strengths One strength of our music video was the Lip Synching, especially considering we were all new to the whole process. Alex did a very good job at the lip synching which made the whole video look a lot more professional and it all continued smoothly.
Another strength was the editing of our video, we had a lot of jump cuts from shot to shot and made it link with the actual song which linked everything in very well. I believe that the strength of our editing meant that our music video looked a lot more planned and discussed instead of it looking like it was put together in a very short space of time. Lastly, i believe our third technical strength is location, compared to the original Amerillo music video, they both begin with the main character walking down a corridor and singing, which is how we started our video, i think that we fulfilled what we were supposed to do as a group; it was to create a shot by shot remake of "Is this the way to Amerillo."
