Part 2 ( Weaknesses )
As well as having strengths in our music video remake which i have discussed in a seperate blogpost, we also had some weaknesses.
For example, we had to re film our footage because we hadn't fully understood the meaning of bass tracking, this meant that we didnt have a lot of time to re-film our footage ( which is why our music video is extremely short) this turned out to be a weakness because our music video footage being so short meant that it wasn't as good as it could have been.
Another weakness was that the video we had chosen is that there werent many different shot types which made the whole video not look as visually interesting as it could have. Alex being in the corridor being shot in the same angle because boring after a few seconds because the eyes get used to it.However we did add other bits for example, the holding of the ipad in front of Alex's face when you hear "sunday morning"During the editing process of our remake we noticed that the camera work wasn't steady and at some points, for example when alex was walking down the corridor his whole head wasnt in the frame at one point which gave the video a very unprofessional feel, as if it was carelessly made. Howver i know that these mistakes that were made mean they wont be repeated and when it comes to filming the actual music video i will make sure that these mistakes are not repeated.
