Question 4- Evaluation Planning

For the last question in my evaluation i will be using go animate, using go animate is very easy and simple to use and because this question requires a lot of explaining which is why is is a good programme because then you would just need to listen to it and it will be less time consuming instead of having to read it.
However because go animate only lets 10 dialogues i will need to add multiple ones.

Question three of the evaluation is the slightly more time consuming one so therefore  a lot more planning has gotten into it. below are screen shots and pictures of my progress so far.

I decided to plan out and write down the information that i will include in order for it to be a lot more organised. doing this will benefit me because when i start doing my actual presentation i will know what information to include making it a lot less time consuming.

I had originally planned to start my first evaluation question on power point and had started it during my lesson on Wednesday, however the programme crashed and I couldn't re-open the document therefore I decided to use prezi which I feel as though looks better overall and I was also able to do more on it, a lot easier.

Pictures i will be using

here is a list of the pictures I will be using. I will pic out three best ones and use them in my digipack as some look better than others, for example one of the pictures is blurry and this wouldn't be a good picture to use because we are trying to introduce a new artist therefore the quality of the picture is very important as we want her audience to remember her.

Starting my Digipack

I have started my designing Digipack using photoshop. I was not  familiar with this programme however after help from my teachers and practising my skills until i was more familiar with working with this programme. i feel as though using this programme is suitable as it will allow me to do various things.


few skills I have learnt:
while cutting around my picture, I noticed that when I zoomed out of the picture, the edges of the picture seemed to look very sharp and un- professional. I then asked for helped and was told to use the 'blur' tool. this helped the overall look of my digipack because it seemed to look a lot more blended in and natural.

What my digipack looks like so far

So far I have developed my mock up in Photoshop, I had a very hard time finding a decent background and this was because the colour of the dress was very bright; therefore any colour that I used seemed to clash. I tried to leave the background however it looked very plain and minimal, and because my overall design is very simple, I decided to play around with the colours and the saturation of the picture until I finally chose a very light background.

Fonts

here are some of the fonts i have chosen, i will not be using the fourth font however because i feel as though it doesnt look very professional and some members of the public may not be able to read it. i would rather use one of the other fonts as they are very clear.

Magazine advert mock up

After recieving feedback from my teacher i have changed some things on my magazine advert. i will be using the same font for the artists name on the advert as i have for the digipack, i will also be using red on the lips in order to make a visual link. i have also decided to change the lay out a little bit and put the 'including the hit single heartbeat' before the release date. furthermore i will be adding another rate from various sources and will also be adding a website.

Magazine Advertisement Analysis three

The final advert i have seen and analysed in Ellie goulding. This advert for Ellie Goulding’s lights album has a lot more going on, but still retails a simple design of just showing the artist up close which  advertises not only Ellie’s album, but  her face to the public so that she becomes recognisable and more famous, and so attracts a larger fan base. we calitter looking we can also see that there is extra glitter looking detail used on her hair which links in with the albums name as lights usually connotes the idea of lights. Thecolour scheme consists of a black background; white handwriting which contrasts well together and although i feel as though the font size may be a little but too small, it helps the writing stand out. this relates to my product as i will also be using a close up of my artists face in order to make her recognisable to the target audience.
