During the end of the AS year of Media we were set a task
of recreating a section of an original existing music video that consisted of base
tracks, in preparation for the A2 year for about a month.
The purpose of this task was that we were able to have an
idea and a taster of what type of things we were expected to do in the A2 year
for example editing with base tracks, pitch, planning, lip-syncing...
The song / video that the group decided to chose (from a
list) to do a shot by shot remake of was Los del Rio
– Macarena. In the group we decided that all of us will participate in the
filming as well as being in front of the camera and doing editing.
Overall I think that the remake of the Los del Rio – Macarena video was successful even if we weren't able
to do the whole section we were supposed to do.
