In lesson (09/01/13) I have started on creating my outside
panels for the digipak, as well as working on image manipulation on Photoshop
Elements. As I was doing this I made sure I took screenshot and asked people
who was part of the target audience their opinions on how the images looked
like that I manipulated and if the layout was good. As this was one of the
things that I had that I was told to be careful and aware off, when getting
feedback from Rebecca.

BEFORE AFTER |
1. The lips are changed to a red colour
2. The dress is now a darker red colour
3. A chuck of loose hair is now gone from behind her neck
4. The hair is shinier
5. The skin tone is darker than the original skin tone
FEEDBACK
I have decided to leave the shadows on the neck, because
when I asked people in the target audience if the changes that I made was
better they said it wasn’t and also they said that the shadow under the chin isn’t
very obvious and they didn’t made it there and they felt that the image would
be better if I didn’t do any manipulations there, but they like the other
changes that I have done to the image.
Also I will make the outline of the image on the digipak be
blurred, by using the blur tool. This is because I made a mistake of doing it
before hand and didn’t want to get rid of it because it made the outline of the
hair line smooth and round, so I spoke to Rebecca (teacher) and she has
recommended that I should make the outline around the image on the front panel
image be all blurred.
Louisa has also suggested that I should move the image on
the back of the digipak to reach the end of the side as it would look weird if
the legs just cut off. This something I will do and keep in considerations, if I
am unable to make the legs (end of image) fade out on Photoshop.
