AMBER - Analysis of a pervious students work

Here is some pervious students work that I really like.

Colour scheme -
Here we can see a clear colour scheme of purple, black and white. I am having a similar colour scheme of red, black and white, so seeing how she worked with three colours is really interesting. I love the purple effect of the colour contrast she put over the pictures like we can clearly see on the advert on her face. This looks intriguing and I would perhaps like to see colour contrast effects like this on my work too.

Photos:
Lots of close ups are used which is really conventional, making us feel up close and personal with the artist. This is what I will do in my ancillary work because close ups are vital in order to follow the standard conventions of any digipak or advert.

Fonts:
Two font style rule has been used, one very fancy font with purple outlines has been used. It doesn't look tacky though, I feel that it actually matches in with the colour scheme and suits this Digipak. The second font is just a plain normal font in order to make it clear and easy for everyone to read.
I will probably stick to one font in my work because soul is classy and having too many fancy fonts going on might ruin it.

Ratings:
On the advert we see a stars rating of 4 stars ****. This is very interesting and probably something I'd like to include in my work too because having a rating will show the audience that other people have rated it good so they're more likely to be convinced to buy the product.

Logos:
Logos of where the advert can be bought are featured at the bottom which is really conventionally and good to use.
