Magazine Advertisement Analysis two

For this magazine advert, basic colours such as black and different shades of grey have been used. there are visually linked pictures because to the right we see a full body shot of mariah carey however for the actual magazine cover ( which is also put there in order to familiarise the audience with what the front cover looks like; what they should look out for. the picture used for the front cover seems like it is a close up of the body shot which then clearly links the two pictures together. we can also see that there is more focus on things such as the artists name, which is in a larger font size, the name of the album and other things such as the release date. this will relate to my genre because not only will i be using visually linked pictures in order to create a sense of connection with the audience, i will also be focusing on things such as the artists name as we are trying to create a strong fanbase.
