Digipak Analysis 3

Overall:
The last digipak I will use for my research is Mariah Carey's digipak design.
The first inner cover design shows an image of Mariah at the bottom of the page in her underwear, which also draws the audience's attention. The colours used are edited which gives all of the pictures the same colour filter, in this case it is very effective because the digipak then becomes linked which is a convention of digipaks as you dont want it to look out of place.
The information is in a black/dark grey colour however i think that it isnt very conventional because the focus would be on the provocative picture rather than the writing, especially because it has a lot of writing; the audience would rarely be very interested in reading through the whole few paragraphs. wrapped However the digipak as a whole looks compact in this format.
The provocative pictures could imply that that is the sort of theme she will be focusing on throughout her music. The colour scheme focuses a lot more on nude skin colour and light colours which gives off an angelic aura.
Overall, this digipak design follows the conventions of a digipak as it has relevant, visually linked images, sticks to a similar colour scheme and also provides logos of the recording companies she is associated with.

Relating it to my digipak:
I will most likely be using a filter to edit my photos as i feel like it will make all of the pictures im using seem linked which will be very effective in the visual look of my overall digipak. I will also be including the record company our aritst is associated with.
