Analysis of Michael Jackson - 'This Is It' Digipak & Advertisement

Here I have done an analysis on Michael Jackson - 'This Is It' album ancillary products
Analysis of the Digipak
Analysis of the Magazine Advertisement
Overall the digipak follows the code and conventions of the layout and format of a digipak and the advertisement has some aspects of the codes and conventions of a advertisement. In both products of ancillary work for the single ‘This Is It’ the visual and graphic style is pretty much similar as well.

In relation to the ancillary products I am creating, I have taken some influence from this ancillary products. This is because Michael Jackson does some soul and motown genre of music in his album 'This Is It'.
The influence that it may have on my ancillary product is the order in which the name of the artist and title goes which is - the artist name above the album title. Also the use of the plain white background, this is something I will have to consider while planning the colour scheme.
Furthermore I would like to add an image of the artist on the back cover of the digipak, but this is something that is seen on albums which are not the first album. This means I have to look into   debut albums of artist that have images on the back cover of there digipak, so that I can justify why I have done this on my digipak if I go onto do it.
