AMBER - Last minute performer change

We have had a last minute performer change.


Being the performer it is a very demanding role because you have to get into character quickly and feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera else it may turn out looking awkward.
From looking back at the footage filmed of the original performers performance on Friday, I felt that Sibora was a little shy in front of the camera and was not completely sure of the lyrics; therefore this affected the editing when Susan and I tried out lip synching.

Sibora has asked me before if I would like to change to being the performer but I felt that it would be good to let someone else try out this role so I was happy to let her do it. However, due to the limited time that we have left and with the little footage we have; I took up on Sibora's offer to change to be the performer as I felt with pervious experience of being on set and in front of the camera, that with myself as the performer we would be able to get things done more efficiently.

The footage filmed on Friday will not go to waste because my hands were filmed while playing the piano so it can still match up to the shots we have.
On Sunday's filming day I had to quickly get in role and then perform on the stage, it was a challenge because I had not got into the mind set of being the performer that day, however I managed to do it and I hope I did a good job of it!
