Yesterday I was able to help out on the set of Rascals ‘Fire
Blaze’ music video shot.
The Rascals are boy band from East
London that produces urban music, they consist of Shizz, Tempz,
Merkz & Kay Willz.
Being on set of the shot has helped me with understanding
the importance of planning, lighting and filming shots on set.
Planning for the video was done by the directors as they know what shots they wanted for example long shots, close ups, profile shots of the band members and the extras.
I learnt that lighting is very important, so that shadows
are not made when not needed.
The whole filming was able to be shot in one day at one
location due to good organising.
I know that our group is filming at 2 locations so we can film our whole video with in 2 days if we organize our filming and timing schedule properly.

Overall the experience of working on the set of a real music
video was amazing and I really enjoyed it. I meet a lot of new nice people and I
wish the Rascals luck with their music.
